Singer and actress Kristen Bell just lost her elderly doggo. Days after the death of her doggo, she asked people to adopt senior doggos from rescue centers and organizations.

Bell took to her Instagram account to share that her doggo Barbara crossed the rainbow bridge. After the death of the dog, she said that she was able to reflect on the good things when one owns a senior dog. The 40-year-old “Frozen” actress shared that it may not be ideal to adopt senior dogs but she said nothing compares “to the feeling you have knowing that you spoiled someone in their twilight years.” For Bell, she admits that she spoiled Barbara for her last two years on earth.

Bell got Barbara from The Dog Café in Los Angeles. Ever since they got Barbara, she used her influence on her social media networks to let people know how things are when dealing with a senior dog.
