Last weekend, the annual Dog Derby races by the Moberly Jaycees took place. This is the second year that the fun-filled event made the community and the doggos happy despite the pandemic.

Accordingly, there were a lot of doggos that participated on the race. The doggos were different shapes and sizes and some did well during the race while others made everyone laugh because they lacked the skill to race.
One of the event goers said it was fun to see whether or not the dogs would finish the race and the event was definitely an “opportunity to get out of the house, see people and especially all the different dogs out here.” Aside from the race, there were also sixteen vendor booths, food booths, and live music by the Sugar Ray Charles Band.
