Rescue Dogs, Veterans, Helped By An Event Where There Was Music, Beer, And Loads Of Fun!

A few weeks ago, an event took place and there was music, beer, dogs, and a lot of happy dog owners and dog lovers. The event helped both rescue dogs and veterans.

Rescue dogs from Saving Grace K9s are being trained in order to help veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. The fundraising event was made to help this nonprofit group. The event started four years ago and the music is always provided by The Lilly Brothers. The event was from 7 through 11 P.M. and tickets were sold at $10. All the proceeds from the event went to Saving Grace K9s.

The music played during that time were from the 60s until the present day. Other local musicians also played and one of them said that, “We’re animal lovers and we all have veterans in our families. With this, we do two good things at once.”
