Miranda Lambert’s 13-Year-Old Doggo Just Crossed The Rainbow Bridge And…

A Golden Retriever in the fields

Miranda Lambert, who loves doggos and is an advocate for better lives for adoptable dogs, just lost one of her fur babies. She referred to the doggo as one of her best friends.

– Singer Miranda Lambert just lost one of her dogs.
– This doggo was found by Lambert back in 2008 together with its sibling.
– The dogs were abandoned and…

On Instagram, the singer noted that Waylon, one of her golden retrievers, crossed the rainbow bridge. Lambert found Waylon and his sister on the side of a road in Oklahoma back in 2008. The doggos were abandoned and starving. The dogs were even close to dying because of hypothermia because it was freezing back then. The vets that worked on the doggo siblings told Lambert they might not be able to make it but almost 13 years after, the doggos remained with Lambert until Waylon’s death.

Lambert continued to say in her post that although they are heartbroken, they are thankful for the years they spent with Waylon and thankful for the time they still have with his sister. Lambert said that she sang the song “High Note” to Waylon on his last night.
