– The 30th annual Heart and Sole Walk for Animals is happening in Rhode Island this Sunday.
– The event will include activities like face painting, dog contests, and music.
– The event hopes to raise more than the amount they raised last year.
The Heart and Sole Walk for Animals is dubbed as the most exciting pet walk in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and also the largest fall fundraiser and festival. The activities include music, pet-themed things to do, a 1.5-mile walk, a marketplace, dog contests, an obstacle course, face painting for kids, and even a Halloween Costume Contest since Halloween is just around the corner.
Those who want to go may register online. Last year, the same event was able to raise $90,000 and it did not just help dogs in Rhode Island but also those outside the area. They expect to raise more this year.
