The employees from Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSEG), a company in Long Island, joined this year’s Dogfest Walk ‘n Roll of Canine Companions For Independence (CCI). The employees also took their own dogs with them at the event.
– PSEG employees helped CCI raise funds this year.
– The funds were gathered from the Dogfest Walk ‘n Roll event of CCI.
– During the event, there were different activities and live music.
The event is actually a fundraiser and one of the PSEG employees raised more than $1,000 by selling stuffed puppies from CCI. Aside from the annual walk during Dogfest Walk ‘n Roll, there were other activities that were great for dogs, dog owners, and families. There was also live music, some dog-related vendors, a photo booth, and more.
CCI trains Golden and Labrador Retrievers in order to help people with disabilities. These dogs are highly trained to be of aid to such people. These trained dogs usually know more than 40 commands and they are partnered with children, adults, and veterans.
