Over the weekend, Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver saw a number of dachshunds and other tiny dogs racing. The event is part of the racecourse’s Dog Days of Summer.

During the event, there were craft beer, food tricks, and even live music. The dogs who took part of the race were able to take over the track during the breaks of the live horse racing. The doggo who won the race got a $500 prize.
There were a total of five races over the weekend. Through the Instagram account of the racecourse, with the name hastingsraces, they showed the photos of some of the contenders. One of them is a veteran of the racecourse’s Wiener Weekend.
