The owners of a doggo that starred in Blake Shelton’s “Ol’ Red” music video got to see the country music singer perform just recently. The dog owners are actually fans of Shelton and they are more than happy to see him again years after the music video was shot.

The dog, a Bluetick Coonhound, named Princess was in the music video with another dog, which was shot back in 2002. The dog owners said that there was an advertisement that some people were looking for a Bluetick Coonhound for a country music video and when they decided to audition, their doggo ended up getting the part. In the music video, the doggo helped Shelton escape from jail.


The restaurant of Shelton called “Ole Red” opened recently in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and he treated the grand opening goers with a private concert. Accordingly, the dog owners got into the concert after Shelton traded them two tickets for the photo they took with him on the day of the music video.
