More and more events are getting cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. A popular music series at Dog Mountain is the latest event to not push through.

– The planned music series this summer at Dog Mountain has been cancelled.
– The event is a 10-week series and is free.
– Many doggos are brought to this event but this year they had to cancel because…

Dog Mountain is located in Vermont and it is dog-friendly. Many of the music series goers usually bring their dog during the Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series but that is not going to happen this year. The music series is an enjoyed event by many because it goes on for 10 weeks and it is absolutely free.

Executive Director Jody Fried said they decided to cancel because they do not want to endanger the health of the audience “in the event of a second outbreak.” Also, they do not want last-minute cancellations by the performers since the series costs $150,000 to produce. They do not want the money to go to waste and not serve their audiences well.

The concert is expected to take place next summer instead.
