Dog Days Of August: An Event Full Of Dogs To Help Other Dogs

The eighth annual Dogs Days of August event took place at the LL Bean’s Freeport campus in Maine. Many dog lovers and doggos attended and it was all for a cause.

One of the employees with LL Bean said that the Dog Days of August is an opportunity for families to bring their fur babies at a dog-friendly event to enjoy games, food, and other activities. The event included live music, different dog competitions such as the dog who has the highest jump and the fastest dog, and a 5K run. The proceeds from the 5K run will be given to the Coastal Humane Society and the Lincoln County Animal Shelter.


A portion of the proceeds from those bought at LL Bean will also be given to Planet Dog Foundation, which is known for training service doggos.
