What Is Do Dah Day? Looks Like It’s Something Where Dogs Had A Lot Of Fun

In Birmingham, Alabama, Do Dah Day is an annual celebration wherein people get together to raise funds for animals in the Birmingham and Jefferson County areas. This year, the turnout was great and lots of dogs were able to enjoy it.

The event was held last May 18 at Rhodes and Rushton Parks. The festival began with a parade featuring doggos in costume while being walked by their owners. The parade ended at Rhodes Park wherein dogs, dog owners, dog lovers, and other event goers enjoyed live music. Live music was provided by a number of singers and bands like Holiday Gunfire, Roots Posse, Taylor Hunnitcutt, and many more.

Vendors also set up tents and they sold pet-related items. There was also a section for children with activities like crafts, face painting, bungee jumping, and a whole lot of fun other stuff.
